GPS Receiver for Arduino (Model B)(Discontinued)
Introduction
This GPS Receiver is Discontinued Now, We recommend GPS Receiver for Arduino (Model A) as a suitable replacement.
This GPS module is based on U-BLOX G7020 solution with ceramic antena and magnet embedded in the enclosure. By using TinyGPS or TinyGPS++ library, Arduino can easily retrieve geographic data (latitude and longitutde, altitude), velocity, heading angle and GMT time.
The update rate is an important performance index of a GPS receiver. Most GPS in mobile phones provide an update rate of 1Hz, which means, only one set of data can be retrieved in one second. For GPS receivers with 10Hz, the data interval is much reduced and thus can be used for more demanding applications (e.g. on fast-moving vehicles).
