Introduction

Industrial-Grade RS485 Temperature & Humidity Sensor (1200m Transmission). This sensor is designed for harsh environments where standard sensors fail. Unlike I2C/UART sensors that are limited to short distances (< 2m), this RS485 module utilizes the standard Modbus RTU protocol to transmit stable data up to 1200 meters. Fully wrapped in an aluminum alloy shell, it is the ideal solution for greenhouse monitoring, warehouse management, and HVAC automation.

    Since this sensor outputs raw RS485 signals, it cannot be connected directly to a microcontroller's GPIO or a PC's USB port.

  • For PC Debugging: You need a [USB to RS485 Converter].
  • For Arduino / ESP32: You need an [RS485 Shield].
  • Power Supply: Requires 12V~36V DC external power (standard 5V from Arduino is insufficient).
