Introduction

Gravity LED Switch is an illuminated self‑locking push button designed for quick integration into interactive electronics and educational prototypes. The compact control module combines a tactile push switch with a built‑in indicator LED, allowing clear visual confirmation whenever a signal is triggered. This illuminated control button is commonly paired with development platforms such as micro:bit to build responsive user interfaces for small embedded systems. A simple digital output signal enables easy connection with controllers, while the integrated LED feedback improves usability for interactive panels, experimental interfaces, and hands‑on STEM project builds.

Note: The module comes with self-lock function. When the button is pressed down, the module outputs High, and the LED lights up. When pressed again, the module outputs Low and the LED turns off.

Self‑Locking Button with Visual LED Feedback

This illuminated push button integrates a latching mechanism and indicator LED within a single compact electronics module. A press activates the internal switch and simultaneously lights the LED, clearly signaling that a digital HIGH state has been triggered. Pressing again releases the latch, turning the LED off and returning the output to LOW. Such visual confirmation is particularly useful for control panels, interactive installations, and prototype interfaces where quick state recognition improves usability and debugging during development.

Maker‑Friendly Interface for Interactive Projects

The illuminated switch module supports straightforward digital signal output and operates across common 3.3–5V logic systems. Compatibility with educational controllers and small embedded boards allows easy integration into experiment platforms and classroom prototypes. Combined tactile interaction and indicator lighting make the control component suitable for building custom button panels, illuminated keyboards, audio control boards, and recording triggers. The Gravity‑style connector further simplifies wiring for rapid prototyping environments and learning-focused electronics projects.

Typical applications include interactive control panels, DIY music player buttons, recording triggers, illuminated keyboard prototypes, and educational electronics experiments. This LED‑equipped push button module provides both input control and status indication, making the hardware especially useful in maker environments, classroom demonstrations, and creative physical‑computing projects that require clear user feedback and simple digital interaction.
