ams OSRAM AS7343 Sensor ALS Evaluation Kit evaluates the 14-channel AS7343 multi-spectral sensor. It comes with an integrated diffuser for improved ambient light measurements right out of the box. This ALS Evaluation Kit is suitable for making contactless measurements of ambient lighting conditions or characterizing light sources. The kit differs from the AS7343 Sensor Reflection EVK as the ALS version does not include illuminating LEDs on board. Rather the ALS version of the EVK includes an optical diffuser in front of the sensor that spreads light evenly reducing the directionality of the beam and helping to improve the field of view.
