Grove IoT Commercial Gateway Kit
Intel and Microsoft have partnered to create a kit for rapid prototyping commercial gateway scenarios. Using an Intel® NUC as the gateway hardware ensures that you have all the horsepower needed to connect new as well as legacy devices, perform edge analytics, translate protocols, and filter data. Use the Microsoft Azure IoT Gateway SDK to easily ingest data into the Microsoft Azure cloud once it’s been processed on the gateway. All of this runs on Wind River, a hardened and industry-trusted IoT operating system.

This pint-sized package is a small device with big performance. It takes the capabilities of a complete desktop system and packs it all into a sleek 7.48" x 4.56" x 1.57" chassis. The kit features the Intel® Atom™ processor E3815 (512KB Cache, 1.46 GHz), which has a thermal design power (TDP) at only 5W. It has an internal support for 2.5-inch HDD or SSD · Built-in 4 GB eMMC device, while allowing an expansion up to 8GB of 1333/1600 MHz DDR3L memory via SO-DIMM slot · Half-length mini PCIe* slot.
