Introduction

2x3A DC Motor Driver Carrier Board for UNIHIKER M10 is a multifunctional expansion platform designed to transform the UNIHIKER M10 into a compact robotics and interactive development controller. A tilted edge connector slot positions the screen at an ergonomic viewing angle, improving usability during programming and debugging. The integrated carrier board combines dual DC motor driving capability, rich sensor expansion interfaces, onboard visual indicators, and infrared communication hardware. Multiple power input options and convenient debugging indicators simplify project integration, while compatibility with Gravity sensors enables rapid prototyping for robotics experiments, automation systems, and STEM Education projects.


Integrated Dual 2×3A Motor Driver for Robotics Control

This robotics motor control expansion board integrates a dual-channel DC motor driver capable of driving two motors simultaneously. Independent motor power input enables stable performance during motion control tasks, reducing interference with the main controller. Such architecture supports mobile robot platforms, automated mechanisms, and educational robotics projects where reliable motor actuation and precise control are essential.


Flexible Multi‑Source Power Supply Architecture

This UNIHIKER expansion carrier supports several power supply methods including USB Type‑C, DC barrel jack (6–12V), and terminal block input. A dedicated HY2.0 interface enables direct power delivery to the UNIHIKER M10 through the included U‑shaped USB adapter cable. The onboard power switch allows convenient control of motor power and USB output, providing flexibility when building portable robotics systems or debugging hardware configurations.


Rich Sensor Expansion with Gravity Interface Compatibility

This hardware expansion board exposes all remaining I/O pins and provides extensive sensor connectivity. Ten 3‑pin I/O ports and four I2C interfaces enable seamless integration with a wide range of modules. Dedicated 5V I2C support improves compatibility with more peripheral devices. Such expandability allows rapid connection of sensors, actuators, and communication modules within the Gravity ecosystem for complex interactive systems.


Onboard RGB Lighting and Infrared Communication

This embedded development carrier includes three WS2812 RGB LEDs for visual feedback, status indication, and creative lighting effects. Integrated infrared transmitter and receiver components enable remote control functions, wireless communication experiments, or IR‑based interaction projects. Multiple onboard indicators for system power, motor power, and motor signal simplify debugging and hardware diagnostics during development.
