We can’t wait for spring to arrive, and we’re looking forward to caring for some plants! We designed this little Adafruit Soil Sensor Kit with micro:bit v2 for students who want to learn how to make their plants grow with help from a little programming.

By following the "FarmBeats for Students" curriculum, you'll look how to create smile and frown status reports from a micro:bit board to let you know when your plant is in the mood for a drink.

• 2 x AAA batteries - alkaline batteries for portable usage
• Red, Black and White alligator clips - 5" long cables, use red for 3V, black for Ground, and white for signal
