The IMX179 8MP USB Camera Module is a high-performance, versatile imaging solution designed for a wide range of embedded applications. Centered around the Sony IMX179 image sensor, it delivers exceptional 8-megapixel clarity, dynamic autofocus, and seamless plug-and-play functionality via a standard USB 2.0 interface. By leveraging the USB Video Class (UVC) protocol, this UVC camera operates without requiring special drivers, ensuring immediate compatibility across a vast range of hardware platforms and operating systems, including Raspberry Pi, NVIDIA Jetson, LattePanda, RDK X5 and PCs. With a maximum resolution of 3280×2464 and a fluid frame rate of 30 FPS at 1080p, this 8MP camera is engineered for demanding tasks in machine vision, security surveillance, and high-definition video conferencing.
