Designed to be soldered directly onto a PCB it serves as the receptacle for a removable screw terminal block making it perfect for I/O signals and power lines that may need to be disconnected for service or testing.The 90-degree pin orientation allows the mating connector and its wires to run parallel to the board which is ideal for low-profile enclosures or designs with tight vertical clearance.
