RainbowLink V2 combines 4 independent communication channels (Isolated RS485 & RS232 + 2x TTL) and a versatile power supply (12V/5V/3.3V) into one rugged device. Integrated Portable Power Supply
Facilitates testing of 12V industrial sensors in the field. Unlike standard converters that only transmit data, RainbowLink V2 features a built-in boost converter. The device converts USB 5V input into 12V (800mA), 5V (2A), and 3.3V (200mA) outputs.
Application: Powers and debugs water level sensors, soil meters, or PLCs directly from a laptop USB port without requiring an external bench power supply or wall outlet.
Four Channels, Simultaneous Operation
Replaces four separate USB dongles with one robust device. All channels operate independently:
Channel 1: RS485 (Fully Isolated) – For industrial PLCs and long-distance sensors.
Channel 2: RS232 (Fully Isolated) – For legacy hardware and standard serial devices.
Channel 3 & 4: TTL (UART) – For microcontrollers, GPS modules, and sensors.

Industrial-Grade Protection (V2 Upgrade)
Prevents damage to connected computing equipment. The V2 edition features Full Signal & Power Isolation for the RS485 and RS232 interfaces. This critical feature blocks high-voltage surges, ground loops, and electrical noise, ensuring computers and prototypes remain safe during harsh industrial debugging.

Enhanced Usability and Design
Smart Port Naming: The dedicated driver clearly names the ports in Device Manager (e.g., "RainbowLink RS485"), enabling precise identification of the correct COM port without guesswork.
Tool-Free Wiring: Equipped with high-quality lever-type spring terminals. Allows for quick connections by simply flipping the lever, inserting the wire (12-22AWG), and snapping it shut.
