Introduction

IMX274 4K 8MP 1/2.5" 2.26mm 130° USB UVC Camera is a high-performance ultra-wide-angle imaging module powered by the Sony IMX274 solution and a 1/2.5-inch large-format CMOS image sensor. Delivering 8MP Ultra-HD output at 3840×2160 with a 130° field of view and up to 30FPS video, this driver-free USB camera board is built for wide-area visual capture in robotics, embedded vision, monitoring, and maker development projects where broad scene awareness, clear detail, and simple USB integration are all required.


130° Ultra-Wide Coverage for Larger Scenes

The 2.26mm lens provides a 130° diagonal field of view, giving this 4K wide-angle USB camera a much broader visual range than narrow-FOV modules. The expansive perspective is useful for panoramic surveillance, mobile robot navigation, room-scale observation, and large-scene AI visual recognition where more context needs to be captured from a fixed camera position without adding multiple modules or redesigning the camera layout.

Driver-Free USB UVC Integration

With a USB 2.0 driver-free UVC design, the plug-and-play camera module can be integrated without complex driver configuration. The board supports mainstream operating systems including Windows, Linux, and Android, and fits development-board workflows such as Raspberry Pi and Jetson Nano vision projects that require fast setup, stable camera access, and repeatable prototyping. This makes the module practical for rapid evaluation as well as small-batch embedded camera systems.
