While most microcontrollers only simulate an analog voltage using Pulse Width Modulation this breakout board allows your digital source to generate a true analog signal. The SparkFun MCP4725 DAC Breakout provides accurate 12-bit analog voltage output via I2C and features onboard EEPROM to store settings even after power loss.
