Dreamer Nano V4.1 (Arduino Leonardo Compatible)
Dreamer Nano V4.1 (Arduino Leonardo Compatible) is a compact ATmega32U4-based development board designed for breadboard embedding and space‑constrained electronics. This microcontroller board integrates a Micro USB interface and replicates the electrical capabilities of the Arduino Leonardo while eliminating the bulky power jack to maintain a slim footprint. The compact embedded controller uses a single ATmega32U4 MCU to simplify the hardware architecture while enabling native USB functionality. Such design allows keyboard, mouse, and other USB-HID emulation without additional interface chips, making the small-form-factor controller ideal for interactive electronics, portable prototypes, and embedded control systems.
Note: The pins supporting I2C/TWI are located at Digital Pins D2 (SDA) and D3 (SCL).
Native USB-HID Capability with ATmega32U4
This compact ATmega32U4 development board connects directly to a computer through Micro USB without requiring a secondary USB-to-serial chip. Native USB support enables keyboard, mouse, MIDI, and custom HID device emulation through firmware libraries. Such functionality expands possibilities for human‑computer interaction projects, custom controllers, automation tools, and interactive installations where direct USB communication is essential.
Breadboard-Friendly Nano Form Factor
This embedded microcontroller module adopts a slim Nano-style footprint suitable for breadboards and compact PCB integration. Removing the traditional barrel power jack reduces overall size while maintaining full electrical compatibility with Leonardo-class hardware. Such a layout allows dense prototyping environments, wearable electronics, robotics nodes, and miniature IoT control boards where board area and wiring simplicity remain critical.
Compatible with Nano Shields and Expansion Hardware
The controller board supports most Nano-format shields available in the market, simplifying integration with sensor modules, communication boards, and driver circuits. Compatibility with the Arduino ecosystem enables quick development using familiar libraries and toolchains. Such flexibility allows rapid prototyping of robotics systems, embedded interfaces, and experimental electronics without extensive hardware redesign.
Typical applications include compact robotics controllers, USB-HID gadgets, interactive art installations, and portable data logging projects. The miniature ATmega32U4 control board also works well in STEM Education environments, enabling students and makers to experiment with USB device emulation, sensor integration, and small embedded systems.
