This module is ideally suited to adding rotation measurement and a method of input to a project. This is a module that features a potentiometer with a 6mm shaft and 270 degrees of rotation. When connected to an analog pin of a microcontroller it is possible to read position of the potentiometer as a proportion of the VCC used.
