If you pick up either of our 11x5 or 5x5 point mini solderless breadboard, you may notice they have little bumps on the bottom. Those nubs can snap onto these brick-like baseplates. That makes for fun and reconfigurable arrangements that can be interspersed with other mechanical components.
Note that while these plates look similar to 'LEGO-compatible' brick plates, they are not the same pitch. so they can't be used with LEGO-compatible bricks or accessories. However, we do like that the plates' soft (ABS?) plastic can be cut or drilled.
