SparkFun Red Vision Touch Display for RedBoard

The SparkFun Red Vision Touch Display is a comprehensive interface that adds machine vision capabilities to the RP2350 RedBoard IoT. Featuring a vibrant 2.0" capacitive touch LCD with 320x240 resolution this shield plugs directly into the standard R3 footprint providing an easy-to-assemble visual interface for your IoT projects without the need for external cabling.While the hardware is compatible with other 3.3V logic RedBoards or R3 Arduino boards with sufficient processing power the specific Red Vision Code Package is currently supported only on the RP2350.Seamless Camera IntegrationMore than just a screen this board is the backbone of your vision system. It features a dedicated mating connector specifically designed for the SparkFun Red Vision Camera Board allowing you to stack the camera and display directly on top of your microcontroller for a compact wire-free assembly.The Red Vision Touch Display also includes an I/O expander to control the display and (if connected) the camera's extra pins over I2C.Powered by OpenCVWhen paired with the RP2350 RedBoard IoT this hardware unlocks the SparkFun Red Vision code package. This MicroPython port of the industry-standard OpenCV library allows you to run advanced tasks such as object detection color tracking and contour analysis all directly on the microcontroller.
